How to make perfume last longer
Moisturised skin, pulse points, and cloth hold scent better than dry skin in a wind. More sprays are not always the answer.
Skin first
Dry skin drinks perfume. A plain unscented moisturiser before you spray gives the oil something to sit on.
Do not rub your wrists together. You crush the opening and flatten the shape of the scent.
Where to spray
Neck, chest, and the inside of elbows are enough for most days. Hair and knitwear hold scent for a long time. Test for stains on silk.
In heat, spraying into the air and walking through it wastes most of the bottle.
